About your internship project As an intern you are responsible for the further development of our renewed luminometer. We are investigating a faster microbial growth method, which we use to detect microbial contamination in pharmaceutical products, to replace the traditional method. This Rapid Microbial Method (RMM) needs to be further researched and developed. You will independently set up experiments, report results and define next steps and use various analytical methods. Your responsibilities • Writing a research proposal and substantiating it with a literature study. • Develop firmware and UI software for the luminometer. • Performing analytical tests to support component choice. • Develop and analyze data. • You actively participate in the team and give your opinion on project work, also outside your internship assignment. • Giving a fresh look at the department by giving your opinion. • Research components to be used in the instrument and prepare assembly.
